Linda Blasky, Reiki Master
Linda is a Reiki Master, specializing in Reiki and self care, both physical and emotional aspects of a person's life. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Education. In her education world, she has been a building leader and mentor for other educator's needs. She is now creating an after-school program that helps grade school students recognize the importance of taking care of themselves and what steps they need to take to improve their lives. Linda's journey started years ago when she took a look at herself and people around her. She noticed how depleted most adults were of energy and reaching a healthy level of happiness. Over the years she has incorporated holistic care in her own life; including, eating healthy while incorporating her own homegrown herbs into her diet, replacing commercial products (such as lotions) with homemade nontoxic products, and practicing Tai Chi for a peace of mind. Linda, along with her co-founders Michelle and Melynda, have collaborated in creating a holistic center that will truly help a person's body, mind, and spirit. Between the three of us our education, experience, and continuous practice bring a full body rejuvenation experience.
Melynda Day, Reiki Master
As a hospice nurse Melynda knows firsthand the importance of self-care to one's mind, body and soul. Melynda is a Reiki Master, studying under the Usui lineage, whose journey began with a need to improve her own mental health. Although her compassion for her patients never waivered, she found herself losing her "spark" during the COVID pandemic. She desperately searched for solutions to help her regain that spark before it was completely gone. While watching a television program she learned about "energy healing". She thought "this was exactly what I need." So, she found a practitioner near her that she felt drawn to, and the journey began. Melynda is certified in Reiki I, II and Master levels, and just recently became certified in Vita-Flex and Raindrop Therapy. After her certification in Reiki Master, she immediately began giving back to her profession by offering 15-minute Reiki sessions to her co-workers. She has also performed Reiki on her patients at Hospice, alleviating their pain, nausea, and anxiety. With Melynda's knowledge of the role of the caregiver, she has developed a session called "Reiki for the Caregiver," and it is offered exclusively at 3 Sisters Body and Soul.
Michelle McQueen, Reiki Master
Michelle is registered nurse, who specializes in the care of the cancer patient. As an oncology nurse, Michelle has always looked for ways to decrease the side effects of the cancer treatment, and/or minimize the pain from the cancer itself. She believes in complementary therapies, to be used along side of more traditional therapies, in order to combat pain, nausea, anxiety, etc. She started her complementary therapy journey with aromatherapy (essential oils), and developed a program to use with her patients to combat ailments like anxiety, stress and fatigue; often using it herself to wind down after a busy day. When Michelle had the opportunity to learn Reiki, she quickly signed up as she thought it could be another program she could bring to her patients. After learning Reiki I and II, she then became certified in Reiki Master under the Usui lineage. Most recently, Michelle has been certified in Vita-Flex and Raindrop therapies as well. Michelle, using her knowledge of the cancer patient, has developed a program called "Reiki for the Cancer Patient" and it is offered exclusively at 3 Sisters Body and Soul.
